The use of information and communication technologies with young people can provide great benefits; however, it is vital we identify the issues surrounding safe and appropriate use of interactive tools. The governments ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ publication gives guidance on inter-agency working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, while highlighting some of the issues regarding child abuse and information communication technology (ICT), including cyber-bullying. We hope the guidance and links available on this page and throughout the Luton Learning Grid, will be of use to young people, teachers, practitioners, carers and parents.
