Luton ICT Conference 2008 - ‘New technologies for Learning’

ICT Conference 2008

This year’s ICT conference at the Luton Learning Resource Centre (LLRC) on Thursday 21st February was a resounding success.

The theme was related to the use of new and innovative technologies as a tool for learning and included seminars involving the learning platform, the use of visualizers, podcasting, gaming and e-safety. Many of the seminar presentations can be accessed below.

We were also fortunate to have John Davitt, UK writer and education specialist provide the keynote speech. As well as a teacher and Adviser with 25 year experience, he is the author of the book New Tools for Learning (2005) a guide to making the technology fit the learning need. His keynote was certainly thought provoking and was a fantastic end to the day.
