Description:
This activity can be used to create multiple choice quizzes for use in any subject or topic area of your choice. The quiz, once created, can be saved as a permanent resource on your hard drive.
Resource Support Notes:
This activity can be used to create multiple choice quizzes for use in any subject or topic area of your choice. The quiz, once created, can be saved as a permanent resource on your hard drive. The quiz file can then be accessed, off-line, at any time.

The Quiz Creator is self explanatory although to assist you there are 'Help' buttons which, by clicking on them, will open up additional windows to provide guidance as each stage is completed.

You will be able to select from 2, 3 or 4 choices for each answer with a maximum of 10 questions per quiz. This will allow a little flexibility when making quizzes either age or ability appropriate.

The purpose of the Quiz Creator is to allow teachers and pupils to create quizzes either as extension, assessment or just plain fun activities. For example, a quick and simple quiz can be developed for use during Numeracy Hour (mental maths) or a more thought provoking quiz could be designed which underpins or extends learning as part of a topic such as scientific concepts relating to materials and their properties - the choice is yours!

As the Quiz Creator is open-ended, each time you make and save a quiz you are creating a permanent resource to support you in your teaching. By e-mailing your quizzes to your local Grid for Learning, other teachers and children will be able to share in this growing resource which will benefit the whole of the learning community.
