A Course for Teachers and Support Staff in using Creative Technology across the curriculum is about to begin at elearning@luton.
The ʻDigital Creatorʼ qualification from The British Computer Society acts as an ideal introduction to using creative ICT across the curriculum in an educational setting. The qualification is delivered at elearning@luton using the latest Apple Mac computers, but for each unit you will also see how the activities could be undertaken on PCs. The final unit looks at how these activities can be embedded in learning activities. The course is delivered by Authorised Apple Distinguished Educators and is certificated by the British Computer Society. All units will also look at how iPads can be used to deliver the content of the units.
“I feel that I have learnt a lot from the Digital Creator course and cannot wait to start using different types of digital equipment in school. Using the Mac computers was great (I have even convinced my Headteacher to buy one!)” 2010/11 Digital Creator Candidate
