Description:
GridClub is the award winning educational resource for 5 – 11 year olds. Covering all foundation subjects at Key Stage Two and English and Maths at Key Stage One, you can access all of the GridClub resources online or a selection of subject based CD ROMS
Resource Support Notes:

With over 500 motivating and exciting educational activities, GridClub can be used to support independent learning at school and at home and is also ideal for whole-class use with IWBs.

One of the excellent activities available is CyberCafé, an integral part of the Internet Proficiency Scheme developed to help teachers educate children on staying safe on the Internet. The scheme has been developed by Becta, The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), the Department for Children, Schools and Family (DCSF, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and Grid Learning Ltd / GridClub. The resource aims to develop a set of safe and discriminating behaviours for pupils to adopt when using the Internet and other technologies.

GridClub are an exhibitor at this years ICT conference.
