Campus Luton
Campus Luton

Through the Campus Luton vision all secondary schools in Luton will work together to help pupils operate.

'Keeping their unique characters but making the 'whole greater than the sum of its parts'. The purpose of Campus Luton is to :

  • enable the best possible coordination and collaboration to support and provide education, training and transition to work, to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families
  • work together to shape and respond to emerging local and national requirements

Together, we will engage and inspire young people in learning.  We will demonstrate strong leadership and commitment to a shared vision and we will ensure that all young people are confident and take pride in being educated in Luton.

We will offer high quality teaching and active, engaging learning experiences. We will ensure all young people have the opportunity to develop the values, skills and knowledge to prepare them effectively for adult life.

 We will ensure:

  • High participation in learning
We will motivate all young people to value, engage and succeed in learning as a means of personal fulfilment and as a route to further learning and to satisfying and rewarding employment. We will work together to help remove barriers to access, so that all young people can reach their potential.
  • A modern curriculum
We will provide a co-ordinated and cohesive curriculum offer that will meet the learning needs of all young people.  Young people will be able to select from a range of learning pathways enabling them to acquire the qualifications they need to progress to further learning and employment.  This will require us to share resources, responsibilities and expertise. Our curriculum will also reflect the social and emotional aspects of learning and help promote greater social and community responsibility.
  • High achievement
We will raise the achievement and attainment of young people in Luton through the work of a dedicated team of educational professionals, delivering high quality learning experiences
