During the half term break, the Young Voice West group went to Caythorpe Hall in Lincolnshire.  The residential trip was for the planning of next year and the election of new officers.

2011/2012 committee

A ballot was taken for positions on the Young Voice West committee from members sent by the schools in west area of Luton.

The new post holders have been confirmed as follows and will be in post for the period October 2011–October 2012

Chairperson - David Oyedi
Vice chair - Najib Yusuf
Finance officer - Anthonia Uvieghara
Public relations and events officer - Dominic Uvieghara
Secretary - Abigail Stevenson

We would very much like to thank the outgoing committee for their hard work in what was a very difficult year.  We hope they will continue to give their support to the Young Voice West committee in their continued fight to give help and support to the young people in this area.
