Young people from the East Young Voice Group, MyPlace Youth Steering Group (YSG) and Luton’s Youth MP, visited the House of Lords and the House of Commons over the summer holidays.

They were taken on a tour of the whole building and learned a lot about the way the Government operates, from the processes involved in voting to the State Opening of Parliament.

The trip was a great chance for them to improve their understanding of how government works and the history behind Parliament.
